NEC students, selected in an annual "Guest Artist Awards" audition, join the Borromeo String Quartet, an NEC ensemble-in-residence. For the purpose of these collaborations, violinists Nicholas Kitchen and Kristopher Tong, violist Mai Motobuchi, and cellist Yeesun Kim step in and out of the ensemble as needed. The winners of the 2011 Borromeo String Quartet Guest Artist Awards who are appearing tonight are:
